Erick Otero, Jersey City native has overcome a spectrum of adversities including a heart condition and a constant battle with ADHD. Although illness had come and gone music was his constant remedy. At the age of nine his father a timbalero introduced him to the lucrative world of music. His exotic beats evolved from a childhood habit of banging on the kitchen table to an extraordinary merge of sound. Though out his adolescents, Erick underwent two open heart surgeries. During this chaotic stage his talent for writing thrived. He began to master transcending his pain through INK. Erick’s physical struggles were a blessing in disguise. His frustrations fueled the fire for an outlet. Feeling trapped in a continuous frenzy of thoughts he coined the term PSYKOTIC. Soon enough rhyming did not quench his insatiable thirst of music. DJing was the nest level in his talented career as a musician. From curiosity to mastery, Psykotic hit the club scene with a unique and intricate style of mixing. Subsequently, Psykotic began to work at Terror Squad as an intern. Thereafter, he continued to peruse his musical dreams. He engulfed himself in music production. His distinctive sound, complex beats and unappeasable passion make him incomparable. Music became Psykotic’s sanity.
